Applications are invited for the temporary position of Project Fellow (Rs. 8000/-p.m. consolidated) under the UGC funded project entitled “Social, Ecological and Environmental Matrix in Rural-Urban Interface: A Sociological Study of Peri-Urban Lucknow” tenable at Department of Sociology, BBAU, Lucknow.

Essential Qualification: M.A. in Sociology/Social Work/Social Anthropology with minimum 55% marks; preferably NET qualified.
Desirable: Experience in project related area, Data Collection, Tabulation, Analysis and Project Report writing.
a) Upper Age Limit not exceeding 35 yrs as on date of interview. Age relaxation for
SC/ST candidate: 05 yrs and OBC candidate: 03 yrs as per Govt. of India rules.
b) At the time of interview candidate should bring bio-data, all necessary original
Documents, attested copies of certificates of examinations passed (starting from 10 standard indicating date of birth), one latest photograph and Caste certificate in case of SC/ST/OBC.
c) “Result Awaited” candidate will not be considered
d) All eligible candidates are requested to be present at the venue on the said date 30
minutes before the scheduled time for necessary formalities.
e) Canvassing in any form will be considered as disqualification of the candidate.
f) The decision of the Vice Chancellor, BBAU will be final and binding.
g) The position is purely temporary on contact basis and co-terminus with sponsored
project. The appointment shall be cancelled whenever the work is found to be
unsatisfactory.
