Advertisement for the post of Project Assistant on Contract Basis
The Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology is devoted to research in various aspects of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences. Its activities include a 2-Semester In-house training to post graduates & motivate them to take up research careers in Climate Science.


In addition, a Centre for Climate Change Research (CCCR) has been established at IITM. To cater to the modeling needs, a High Performance Computing Centre has been set up and a HPC with 7.2 TF has been installed. For CCCR, the capacity of HPC is being upgraded to 70TF. The Institute also has excellent infrastructural facilities and has MoU with University of Pune. It has strong links with other Universities and national and international organizations.

Stipend - ` 16,000/- plus admissible HRA
Tenure : 1 year
