National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG),a registered society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860,is the implementing wing of NGRBA and its General Body is chaired by the Minister, Environment & Forests. A Joint Secretary to Government of India level officer is the Mission Director.

Job Profile :
? Overall responsibility for communications and public outreach activities of NGRBA.
? Oversee the development and implementation of the Communications and Public Outreach Strategies and Plans, and will coordinate and interact with state governments, ULBs, implementing agencies, and other interest groups and voluntary activists around with shared communications initiatives and activities relevant to the program.
? Take care of the communication needs and outreach activities of the Ganga Knowledge Center (GKC) as its Chief Public Relation Officer to achieve the objectives of the NGRBA program to achieve the objectives of the NGRBA program.
? Will coordinate and guide SPMGs for planning, implementing and monitoring communication and outreach programs in states.
? Overall responsibility for staff and task management of Communications and Grievance Unit
? Identification of bottlenecks and ensuring resolution on Communications issues
? Shall maintain close and continuous communications with all functional wings and key stakeholders at central/state levels and with development partners
