Junior Research Fellow / Project Assistant
Qualifications:
JRF/Project Assistant (Level II) M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic/Inorganic/Applied/ Material/Physical/Analytical) with minimum 55% from a recognized university.
Project Assistant (Level I) : BSc with minimum 55% marks with chemistry as one of the subjects from a recognized university. Candidates with NET/GATE qualifications will be preferred. For JRF/PA-II a written screening test will be carried out. Personal interview will be held for all candidates
Age: 28 years for JRF/PA-II and 25 years for PA-I as on February 4, 2013 (Relaxation as per CSIR rules).
CSMCRI is a national research laboratory under CSIR, which is well equipped with research facilities of international standards (website: www.csmcri.org).
Applications are invited from highly motivated individuals for the positions of Junior Research Fellow/Project Assistant Level-II, to work in the area of polysaccharides, ionic liquids and natural product chemistry under projects funded by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, New Delhi.
Interested candidates meeting the above requirements may attend the walk-in-interview with a copy of detailed biodata, original certificates along with their attested photocopies and a passport size photograph on February 4, 2013 at 9.30 A.M. at Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, G B Marg, Bhavnagar-364002.
