University Grants Commission invites applications for the award of 2000 fellowships for SC candidates
and 667 fellowships for ST candidates for the year 2012-13 respectively under Rajiv Gandhi National
Fellowship for SC/ST Candidates to undertake advanced studies and research in Sciences, Engineering
& Technology, Humanities and Social Sciences in Indian universities & colleges for pursuing full time
studies leading to M.Phil/Ph.D degree.

Studies and research in Sciences, Engineering & Technology, Humanities and Social Sciences in Indian universities & colleges for pursuing full time studies leading to M.Phil/Ph.D degree.
Note :
This fellowship would be available only to those SC/ST candidates who are not availing themselves of the benefit of JRF of UGC-NET or UGC-CSIR NET.
Selection Process :
Selections will be made on the basis of merit. The guidelines of the scheme, detailed terms and conditions of the fellowship, eligibility, state wise distribution of 2000 fellowships for SC candidates and 667 fellowships for ST candidates
