Assistant.(Technical/Administration) on contract basis as per the details given below to maintain the laboratory under the Head, AHEC, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee and appear for the interview on Dec. 11, 2012 at 11.00 a.m. in AHEC.

Project Assistant(Technical)-A
Qualification:
Diploma (3 years duration)/Graduate Degree
OR
ITI (2 years duration) in related trade of Instrumentation/Electrical/Mechanical with 4 years relevant work
experience of laboratory for hydraulic pipe line / instrumentation/mechanical / electrical.
Project Assistant(Technical)-B
Qualification:
Diploma (3 years duration)/Graduate Degree with 2 years relevant work experience
OR
ITI (2 years duration) in related trade of Instrumentation/Electrical/Mechanical with 6 years relevant work
experience of laboratory for hydraulic pipe line / instrumentation/mechanical/ electrical.
1. Persons employed should submit their application through proper channel and at the time of interview
they should produce no objection certificate from the employers.
2. Preference will be given to SC/ST candidates on equal qualifications and experience.
3. Candidates before appearing for the interview shall ensure that they are eligible for the position they
intend to apply.
Candidates desiring to appear for the Interview should submit/produce the following materials at the time
of Interview along with attested copies of marks sheets/certificates/testimonials and a demand draft drawn on the State Bank of India, IIT, Roorkee Branch (code no. 1069) or on the Punjab National Bank, IIT, Roorkee Branch (code no. 4044) for Rs. 100/- in favour of Dean (SRIC), Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee should also be attached with the application.
Application in a plain paper with detailed CV including chronological discipline of degree/certificates
obtained.
Experience including research, industrial, field and others.
Original and attested copies of degree/certificate and experience certificate.
