G.B. Pant Institute of Himalayan Environment & Development Applications Are Invited For the Post of Junior Research/ Project Fellow/ Technical Assistant

Applications are invited for appointment on following project based purely temporary post.  

Post:

Junior Research/ Project Fellow

Qualification:

First class Masters degree in Microbiology/ Biochemistry with specialization in Soil Microbiology/Soil 

Biochemistry

Junior Research/ Project Fellow

Qualification:

First class Masters Degree in Botany, Forestry, Environmental Sciences in addition to above P.G. Diploma in RS/GIS 

OR 

M.Sc./M.Tech. (RS & GIS) with B.Sc. as Botany/Forestry as one of main subjects.

Junior Research/ Project Fellow

Qualification:

Masters degree (at least 55% marks) in Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Life Science

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Senior Research Fellow (SRF) / Research Associate (RA)

Qualification:

For JRF: Masters Degree in Botany / Plant Sciences or equivalent degree with minimum 55% marks and qualified NET conducted by CSIR  

For SRF: 

Masters Degree in Botany / Plant Sciences with  minimum 60% marks or equivalent degree and at least two years of      Post-M.Sc. research experience as evidenced from published papers in standard refereed journals 

For RA: 

Doctorate degree or equivalent in Botany / Plant sciences with consistently good academic record along 

with publications. Candidates who have submitted    Ph. D. may also apply

Technical Assistant

Qualification:

Graduate in Science background

Age Limit:  For Junior Research/Project Fellow 28 years, Senior Research Fellow 32 years, Research 

Associate 35 years and for Technical Assistant 28 years. Relaxation for SC/ST/Women/PH and OBC as per Govt. norms 

Desirous candidates fulfilling required qualification and experience are encouraged to attend
