Post:

PROFESSOR

Qualification:

BE / B Tech and ME / M Tech in relevant subject with First Class or equivalent either in BE / B Tech or ME / M Tech 

AND

  PhD or equivalent, in appropriate discipline. Post PhD publications and guiding PhD students is highly desirable

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR and TRAINING AND PLACEMENT OFFICER

Qualification:

BE / B Tech and ME / M Tech in relevant subject with First Class or equivalent either in BE / B Tech or ME / M Tech 

AND

  PhD or equivalent, in appropriate discipline.

  Post PhD publications and guiding PhD students is highly desirable.

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR (Humanities and Sciences)

Qualification:

Good academic record  with at least 55%  marks or, an equivalent CGPA at the    Master’s level and PhD degree in the    relevant subject

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

Qualification:

BE / B Tech and ME / M Tech in relevant subject with First Class or equivalent either in BE / B Tech or ME / M Tech 

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (Humanities and Sciences)

Qualification:

Good academic record with at least 55% marks or, an equivalent CGPA at the Master’s degree level, in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from a Foreign University, Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC

LIBRARIAN

Qualification:

Master’s degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent CGPA and consistently good academic record.

AND

Qualifying in the national level test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC

I. Out of above posts, one post of Professor, two posts of Associate Professor and five posts of Assistant Professor are reserved for physically handicapped candidates (i.e. visually short sighted, hearing impaired, orthopedic disorder).

II.  The standard application form with the recruitment details may be downloaded from the website www.aissmscoe.com and www.aissmsioit.org.

III. The application should be accompanied by the certificate of last salary drawn by the applicant, if applicable.

IV. The pay scales, service conditions and recruitment qualifications for the above posts are as per the AICTE / University of Pune / Government of Maharashtra / Society norms.

V. Use separate application form for each post applied.

VI. Reserved category candidates should submit one copy of their application (without enclosing testimonials) to the Deputy Registrar, Reservation Cell, University of Pune, Ganeshkhind, Pune - 411 007.

VII.  In case, suitable candidates from the reserved categories are not available, any other category candidates may be considered on purely temporary basis for one academic year only. Such appointed candidates will have no claim or legal right whatsoever on the said post. 

VIII.  If required, the preliminary screening of the candidates may be carried out based on written test and / or oral presentation.

IX. The application forms should be complete as per the norms prescribed. Incomplete forms are likely to be rejected.

X. No allowances will be paid for attending the interview.
