National Institute of Rock Mechanics (NIRM) is a premier research Institute dedicated to the development of rock engineering technology based on intense multi-disciplinary research. NIRM is looking for Scientists/Scientific/Supporting/Administrative Staff on regular appointment/deputation as detailed under for its R&D activities at its KGF & Bangalore Units.



Post:
(1) SCIENTIST-II
Qualifications : 1st Class BE in Mining/Civil Engineering with 6 years experience (or) M.Tech./ME with 4 years experience, Ph.D(Science) with 2 years experience/Ph.D (Engg.)

Age Limit : Up to 40 years as on 1st Sept 2012.

(6) OFFICE ASSISTANT-I (HINDI)
Qualifications : (1) Must be a Graduate and be able to type 40 wpm Hindi. (2) Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience Hindi typing.

Age Limit : Up to 28 years as on 1st Sept 2012.

SC/ST applicants are exempt from payment of application fee. Those who are employed in the Government Sector/ Organisations should route their application through their concerned employer. However, advance copies of their application may be sent. Age relaxation will be provided as per the prevailing norms of Govt of India.
