Kolkata Port Trust invites applications for the post of 2nd Officers/ Senior



Certificates of Competency
Dredger & Despatch Service
2nd Mates (FG); B.Sc.Nautical Science/ Dredge Mate-Grade-I
Training Period:
42 months including passing out of the following examinations:
1. First Mates (FG) Ltd. or Dredge Master-Grade – II.
2. Master (FG) or Dredge Master- Grade – I.
3. Tug Pilot examination

Hydrographic Service
2nd Mates (FG); B.Sc.Nautical Science/ Dredge Mate-Grade-I
Training Period:
45 months including passing out of First Mates (FG) Ltd., three departmental examinations on Hydrography and Pilot’s
examinations.

Age Limit : Not exceeding 45 years as on 01.06.2012

Application in plain paper, signed by the candidate, furnishing detailed bio-data
including name, date of birth, permanent address, mobile and residential telephone numbers address for communication, nationality, religion, whether SC/ST/OBC, educational and professional qualification, experience and any other relevant information with two recent passport size photographs should be submitted in sealed envelope superscribed “ Application for the post of 2nd Officer” to the Director, Marine Department, Kolkata Port Trust, 15, Strand Road, Kolkata-700 001. Photocopies of caste, educational and professional qualification certificates should be enclosed.
Last date of receipt of application is 22nd June, 2012. Incomplete application or
application received after last date will be rejected.
