Sports Authority of India - Jr. Engineer / Assistant

Sports Authority of India (SAI), invites applications from ELIGIBLE CITIZENS OF
INDIA for filling up various posts in under Special Recruitment drive for SCs/STs/OBCs at its Head Office, New Delhi and its various Regional Centres/Sub-Centres spread all over India as per details given below :-



Post:
5. Jr. Engineer(Civil/Elect)
Qualification :
3 years diploma in Civil/Electrical Engineering with 3 years
experience in the filed.

4. Assistant
i).Graduate from any recognized university with sports
background.
ii) 5 years working experience in Central/State Govt./Public Sector Undertaking / Autonomous Body. Out of which
minimum 3 years in the pay scale of Rs. 5200-20200 plus grade pay 2400. Persons having experience in handling personnel & administrative matters will be given
preference..

SELECTION PROCESS
The candidates who fulfilled the eligibility criteria will be called for a written examination
to be held at Delhi or other place as decided by the Sports Authority of India. The
candidate as this screening stage will be shortlisted in the ratio 1:3 for each post.
The successful candidates of second stage will be asked to appear for interview.
Selection will be made on the basis of merit list prepared by the Selection Committee based
on the written examination and interview.

HOW TO APPLY
Candidates satisfying all the conditions of eligibility, shall submit their Application in the format given in the annexure which shall be either hand-written in bold capitals or typewritten on A-4 size paper only. The copy of the certificate in proof of age, qualification, experience, research, caste etc., must be enclosed alongwith the application form. The candidates can also download
the application format from the websites of SAI i.e. www.sportsauthorityofindia.nic.in
Candidates who are working in Central/State Government/Autonomous Organizations
should apply through proper channel along with a certificate of vigilance clearance from the competent authority. However, to avoid delay, an advance copy of the application form, complete in all respects, along with the requisite fee, should be submitted by the last date.
