ONGC OFFERS 100 SCHOLARSHIPS TO SC/ST MERITORIOUS
STUDENTS, PURSUING HIGHER PROFESSIONAL COURSES.,
The details of amount of scholarships and category wise number of scholarships
available in Engineering, Geo-Sciences and MBA are as under



Eligibility:
A. Candidate should be a student of 1st year of Graduate Engineering
Courses or 1st year of Masters Degree in Geology/Geophysics/MBA and
should be pursuing full time regular course at any I.I.T./University/Institute
recognized by the Govt. of India.
B. Candidate should have obtained minimum 60% marks in 12th class for
Engineering discipline and in graduation for P.G. Courses as applicable or
Overall Grade Point Average (OGPA) of minimum 6.0 in 10 points scale of
grading system.

How to apply :
The candidate fulfilling the above criteria may submit their typed
application alongwith two recent passport size photographs (one affixed on the
application). Copies of mark sheets of 12th standard or graduation as applicable,
caste and income certificates should be enclosed. The Caste and Income
Certificates must be issued from the Competent District Revenue Authorities not
below the rank of Tehsildar. Translated copies of income and caste certificates
are required in case the issued certificate is not in Hindi or English. All certificates should be duly attested by the Head of the Institution. The application should be in the following format in order to sequence :
(1) Name (2) Father’s name (3) Address for Communication with Mobile No.
(4) Email ID (5) Bank details: (i) Name of Bank (ii) Branch (iii) A/c No. (6)
Permanent Address (7) Date of Birth (8) Whether SC/ST (9) Parent’s
Occupation and income (10) Course being persued. (i) Name of Institution (ii)
Course Duration (iii) Year of Study (iv) Subject taken .
(11) Performance in Class XII examination for Engineering Courses or in
Graduation for P.G. Courses of Geology/Geophysics and MBA.
(i) Name of Board/Universy/College (ii) Year of Passing (iii) Division (iv) % of
Marks (v) Subject taken.
(12). I hereby certify that I am not receiving any financial assistance from any of
the Public Sector Undertaking/Companies of Private Companies and I fulfill the
eligibility criteria as laid down by ONGC. If any information furnished by me is
found false or incorrect I shall liable to be disqualified from ONGC Scholarship
besides refunding the amount received from ONGC.
